MusicDish, in collaboration with TGIS, was asked to organize a one-day event by restaurant-nightclub RAMO to help boost their profile. The result was a full-day retro event celebrating Beijing's disco era called "Beijing Fever! Disco Madness!" During the daytime, the event featured talks by academic and cultural gurus on Beijing's disco movement, workshop on DIY disco-themed jewelry making, fashion showcase and talk by a vintage clothing brand fonder as well as a specially designed menu. The event was capped by an all-night disco revival party featuring local hot acts DJ Jay and DJ CHONG. The event was RAMO's most successful and attended and capped off our year-long collaboration with TGIS creating events showcasing the arts, music, design and fashion shaping China's youth culture.
